Barrister Adenike Iyelolu Appointed to Lead Nigerian Ship Registry

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has approved the appointment of Barrister Adenike Adeyele Iyelolu as the new Registrar of Ships for Nigeria. The appointment, effective for a four-year tenure, was recommended by the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola. Iyelolu, a seasoned legal and maritime governance professional with over 25 years of experience, will oversee the administration of the Nigerian Ship Registry. She succeeds Barrister Tajudeen Giwa, who retired after years of service.
