New Customs Area Controller Pledges to Build on Predecessor’s Success

The Enugu/Anambra/Ebonyi Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service held a formal handing-over ceremony between outgoing Controller Comptroller Comfort Senas Ukpanah (Retd) and incoming Controller Comptroller FA Bodunde. Ukpanah reflected on her tenure, highlighting the achievement of an unprecedented revenue target and praising her team’s dedication and teamwork. She urged them to maintain integrity and prioritize the Service’s interests. Bodunde vowed to build on existing successes, prioritizing revenue generation and trade facilitation. She called for teamwork, transparency, and professionalism, and thanked her predecessor for her contributions.
