AIG Musa Yusuf Garba Receives NSW Delegates for Inter-Agency Talks

Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Musa Yusuf Garba, in charge of the Maritime Police Command, received delegates from the National Single Window (NSW) Secretariat at the command’s headquarters in Obalende, Lagos. The visit aimed to foster inter-agency collaboration in line with the Federal Government’s goals for efficient port operations and improved revenue mobilization in Nigeria’s maritime and trade facilitation sector.

In his remarks, AIG Maritime welcomed the delegation and assured them of the Command’s unwavering commitment to supporting the objectives of the National Single Window initiative, particularly in the areas of security, transparency, and efficient maritime operations.

The meeting provided an avenue for the Maritime Police Command and the NSW Secretariat to deliberate on strategies to improve coordination, address emerging challenges, and promote effective management of maritime trade processes.

The Maritime Police Command remains dedicated to fostering partnerships that enhance maritime safety, strengthen national security, and support the economic development of the country.
