Taraba State Deputy Governor Aminu Alkali announced a ban on night journeys on waterways.
Ordered the clearance of barricades on waterways within seven days.
The deputy governor promised to investigate the matter deeply to determine the cause and punish those responsible.
The Taraba State Deputy Governor, Aminu Alkali, visited the community alongside the Commissioner for Special Duties and Social Development, Saviour Noku, to console with affected families. The government pledged support to the families of the victims.
