Kaduna Customs Announces Death Of AC Victor Tswanya

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Kaduna Area Command has announced the Sudden demise of Assistant Comptroller of Customs, Victor Tswanya, who passed away at his residence in Barnawa, Kaduna, after a brief illness.
A statement issued by the Command’s Spokesman, Superintendent Ridwan Yusuf, reads: “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Assistant Comptroller of Customs Victor Tswanya, who, until his demise, served as the Acting Deputy Comptroller in charge of Administration at the Kaduna Customs Area Command.
“Assistant Comptroller Tswanya, a dedicated officer, passed away peacefully at his Barnawa, Kaduna, residence. His contributions to the Nigeria Customs Service, where he served for over three decades, will be deeply missed.”
The statement further notes that the late senior officer was an indigene of Gbako Local Government Area of Niger State and was born on November 7, 1967, adding: “He was enlisted into the Nigeria Customs Service on January 1, 1992, and was promoted to the rank of Assistant Comptroller on January 1, 2023.”
The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Tijani Abe, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, praising Tswanya as an exemplary officer, whose contributions will be greatly missed.
The Command also extended its condolences to the Tswanya family and prayed for the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
